Ray's the Heat is coming to the East River Park Shppping Center (on the corner of Minnesota and Benning Road). Welcome news indeed. I've been to Ray's the Steaks in Arlington, and the food is great. Ray's also seems set on being local restaurant. For instance, it doesn't accept reservations over the phone. You have to show up and put your name in, which tends to favor residents near-by. Ray's is scheduled to open in April.
